Unearthed

My love for you extends beyond infinity - it is more than infinite, but timeless. Knowing no restraints, no boundaries, this love is immeasurable. To hold you is to touch a piece of heaven, to touch a piece of something that I never tire of, to touch a piece of something that I grow more and more fond of each day. In spirit, I am always there holding you as you are always there holding me. In spirit, I know nothing else. The timelessness of everything that we have will guide us, drive us back to one another, everlastingly. I want us to be the lasts of each other. I want to cherish your every detail until the day I die by your side. A sandstorm pulses within the night. It shakes the skin, catches sight of life. And every ounce, and every inch, of black, it lurks, it starts to pinch. It mutilates, it stupefies. It melts the brain and channels lies. But does give in, it does dissolve. And leaves room for a clean resolve. The pain is numbing, stealthy, sharp. But still below, exists the harp. Which does emit the finest tune. It plays the music of her moon. Caresses her with gorgeous noise. The sound of future girls and boys. So, they lock eyes, and they finally smile; the sand has passed on, mile by mile. With each eye closed, and each mind dozed, there is fresh vacancy... a pioneer. You are the fabric of my soul. With each eye wide, each mind to hide, the appetite, the thirst, becomes scarce...? Oh, no, you are the very substance that makes me whole! I look behind myself, at the very thorns that bite. Within, too, and I wonder how, I wonder why. But it is not to question, and it is not to fight. It is to carry, to hoist, into a fiery sky. Allow the flames to take hold, embrace what is to come. The planets colliding, the time biding, the children priding, the memories guiding. A push of the conscience to defeat a harsh reality... when there are no sides, there is no need for siding. Look at me, again, and hold my hand, and see me for who you know me to be. You and I, we’re phosphorescent. When this disturbance dies, this squall dissolves, this cloudburst gives... as one, we’ll still be incandescent. Use those wings of yours to soar onward. You are a light that stays lit through it all. Never quit flying - you are existence. You are one of God's finest works of art.
