The Uneducated Jobless Skank
Which is worse?
his actions or that I don’t miss him
I avoid him at all costs
like the plague.
Tonight?
I have practice,
No, I’m not going to scouts this week
Yet I’m not completely miserable
when we’re forced together
during mechanical I’m here
because I have to visits
Don’t mention you don’t like thin crust,
or’d rather have plain pepperoni,
just let the other two choose
or you’ll only cause trouble
For holidays
we put on our family sized façade.
Nothing's wrong here.
Euchre partners like nothing has changed,
just focus on the game.
“I’m not the fuck up who cheated on Mom!”
I’ve always had a bad poker face.
But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist,
just a loud speaker phone
Vigilant in angered confusion,
I skipped school the next day
I should have known sooner
It was ignorant to think I wouldn't find out
After all it was mom who moved to the couch
in all the movies I've seen
it’s the dad
At school no one knows
Nothing changed for them
thier dad didn’t move out
by mutual decision
Then
He dares lecture me?
That uneducated jobless skank?
How my grades are slipping,
how I’m limiting my options?
It's really no wonder.
His stupid visits are killing me.
Wasting my time
But ask him:
its my fault,
I do it on purpose
like some sort of an attention whore
Why aren't they divorced yet,
just...
separated?
Experimenting if she can trust again?
What is worst
my guilty and honest thought
that they hurry up and make it final
I'll receive more financial aid
From now on, to me
that is all he is good for
