The Unending Song

We celebrate his life through music and the message of God’s promise

Because music ignited his love for Christ

Hearing his voice and the notes he would play

Brings joy to my heart on this difficult day

He loved when friends and family gathered to praise the Lord

Not one single place was where he would perform

He would always bring his singing voice wherever he went

Singing and playing praises to God was how his time was best spent

His favorite instrument was the piano

Here he would sit for hours

Singing and playing a joyful tune

Telling everyone He is coming soon

Now in a place far away

But forever in our hearts he stays

We may not see him for a while

But on those golden streets he will one day greet us with a smile

Until then we must keep his memory alive

By honoring his life and fulfilling his dream

Of telling everyone we meet

To look for him at Jesus feet

There will be sad days ahead

We will long to hear him sing and play

But we will hear it again very soon

Until then we will miss his joyful tune
