Equally yoked, so why the changes

It started so well long ago

And now, as life is rearranging

We’ve finally arrived in the know

A blanket of confusion

To cover some restless souls

Accepted as a welcome intrusion

As anger has just a goal

The only sign now visible

Is the exit in fading light?

Darkness appears permissible
