Unexpected Inspiration

I am moving to a new house

I will be living with a dear friend

Maybe one day he will be my spouse

At least that is what I intend

I need to find a new job

One that can support me

It shouldn’t make my feet throb

But I have no idea what it should be

I am looking everywhere

Even places out of my way

At a computer screen I stare

Hoping it will be the day

An abundance of salons I find

I click and take a peek

A thought crosses my mind

Maybe this is what I seek

I like videos of nail art

So mesmerizing and cool

I want to do it with all my heart

I should go to school

I am inspired by a job hunt

And I am happy it is done

My family might think it is a stunt

But being a nail technician looks fun
