Unexpected Visitor

When I first saw you, I would’ve bet the world had stop spinning.
I knew you could tell, cause you wouldn’t stop grinning.

You had the cutest smile, something like a pouty frown.
And your eyes were sparkling, with a stunning shade of brown.

You knew I was in the mood, for some mischievous teasing.
Cause when I reached for you, inch by inch back, slowly, you were easing.

Suddenly you stopped, right in your tracks.
Off-guard, I froze, unable to react.

You have a look that says, “well, what are you waiting for?”
That’s when I woke up, and never saw you, anymore.
