Unfathomable

Far too often

My feeding eyes are sucking in imagery too beautiful to be witnessed alone.

The heart is swelling with no one to share;

my choked, garbled words from haphazard lips curl and race to take a snapshot.

Out of all the methods to words or phrases I know,

Poetry is my puzzle of how provide insight, a window into time

To place my listener, or reader with me

in my most passionate adventures of the mind.

Feasting their eyes upon the visions,

My ever careless words may, perhaps then, make a connection-

And strings of connection are all I'm reaching for.
