The Unfiltered Me
You cannot filter me on Instagram,
Or find my Twitter in the bookstore.
You cannot Snapchat me in my dreams,
Or even hack my iCloud.
I am not Social Media,
Nor a picture,
Nor a thumbs up, nor thumbs down,
Nor a hashtag.
I am not what Society expects,
Or even wants.
I am my sound,
My sight,
My taste.
I am not the girl on your phone,
In your contacts,
On a text message.
I am a creator,
An inventor,
A believer,
Curiouser,
Messier,
Prettier,
And the last thing Society considers on my Profile;
A person!
