The Unfiltered Self

Who are you after you've been altered?

After changing the quality of the image,

After adding unnecessary elements to your identity,

After showing people how you would like to be portrayed.

Is this you?

Maybe you used this tactic in order to gain fame and recognition,

To show the world your ideal self,

Or to exert your skills in art.

This is not your typical photo, This is not you.

Who you are is not determined by your insecurities,

But by how your confidence overshadows these weaknesses.

You must not be afraid to offer yourself to the world,

As the possibilities are endless.

You can flourish or be confined in selfishness.

Are you really you?

The choice is yours.
