You stuck to me like glue // We were inter-twined like vines in the forest // You said we were soulmates because the stars told you // I thought you were crazy, but I fell for you // We were set in stone just like that damaged concrete that was still holding on and so were we // Loving each other was hard // The glue was melting away // The vines were becoming untwined // The damaged concrete started to break in pieces // We were unraveling like wild fire // We promised each other that nothing would tear us apart // I loved you // Past tense // I thought I loved you in the beginning but I was just on a high //  You loved me too // You were just drunk on the fact that someone finally cared about you // We tried to stay intertwined, but we were like puppets on strings and we were ripped apart
