Unfinished always are my poems

As I always long for more

Thinking about ways to show them

That my meanings are much more

For better meaning, for better words

For better ways to share your feelings

I don’t seek to be seen or heard

I seek to make my readers heard

I want you to feel seen and heard

In every poem you have read

I want you to feel like a bird

Uncaged and free and understood

I know you often feel unheard

Unseen, uncared for but that’s wrong

In these poems that you can read

You’ll be surprised at what you read

In ways you never thought about

Theres someone like you, without a doubt

That shares your feelings and your thoughts

And so you learn that after all

That you were not alone at all
