"The Unfinished" (Still Editing)

Ima just go ahead spit my mind, just a young minority expressing thru rhyme

Most rappers make us believe they blazin on the track,

But they ain't no jesse owens so ima peanut butter jelly hit it with a baseball bat.

I know i'm sounding childish but that's cool with me,

Ima weird young man and that's just how I be.

The problem tho is i'm not just a weird young man,

The problem is i'm a weird young man with a plan.

Ima young boy who wants to change the world,

not go to parties nor worry about girls.

See I know a few of my peers see me as a kid who just doesn't show up to class,

Truth is I try my best working towards my dream and staying up late to pass.

Little do they know i'm not doing it for show.

I'm really a good kid tryna get out and have fun not be on the streets holding a gun,

man sad fact i'm sixteen basically raising a young son.

See I won't be in bed until somewhere around 3 to 1,

although I know my teachers be thinkin who were we to trust this one.

I know i'm sorry i've grown from topic,I've also grown to know every person has a way with they own logic.

Let me tell you more tho of this unique plan,

The one i'm hoping will show the world ima unique young man.

I can't do it alone i need help cuz it ain't no walk in the park,

It will i'm hopin show people can't be exposed alone to the power of the dark.

You can see on tv a black man aiming a gun,

but never will they show you a black man claiming his son.

A feeling I know all too well,

just to get around all the stereotype I had to look inside myself,

Couldn't be another statistic of young minority who end up in jail.

We'll see a man in a electric chair,I rather go back to old times watching moms braid a daughter's hair.

Im sure many people are listening saying but what was his main point,

Well for one we gotta stop blaming and calling people low lifes over a joint.

I know that was inappropriate but so is having trump in office,

Ight im waay off topic I really must stop it.

I know this poem isn't all nice organized and pretty,

but sometimes you just gotta get down and gritty,

Saddest part is through the poem many things you've heard are true now that's a pity.

Now back to a more concerning topic we need focus,

I wish I could fix this sad world with a little spell and say hocus pocus,

Sadly that's not gonna happen we all know it.

What we don't know tho is what we could be doing,

people can't get along we're getting in crashes on purpose just so we could get to suing.

I'm not even mad tho you truly are just everything that you are,And that's perfect,

Because a silicon soul and a polyester heart Makes the light inside kinda dark.

We should be getting along stop playin games,

This poem could be everywhere by tmro and things still gone be the same, ain't that a shame.

We need to get out of our bubbles and homes, yeah those pointless things we call a comfort zones.

Now This is for know the end of an unfinished story one about a kid just stating how he feels,

Its sad to know considering I wasn't done but hopefully just give me a month i'll have something new that will give you chills.
