Unfinished Untitled Undone

Laying upon my bed of sorrow

He took me by my hand and held me until the morrow

He wiped my tears and kissed my lips and begged me not to cry

He promised he would do all he could until I felt that everything was alright

He was willing to fix everything that was undone

Clean up the mess of ruins from a battle someone else had won

He treasured the same being that another man had shunned

He never made me doubt his loyalty

Even though I didn't have a chance to show him none
