The Unforgiving Graveyard

The Unforgiving Graveyard

The raucous wind roared, swinging the versatile branches of a towering oak,

hovering above isolated stones.

A dark cloak swallows the place whole

No minuscule shards of light persisted.

No love can reside in this place;

its roots clinging,

Unforgivingly.

What was intended to be beautiful, is disordered, and repulsive.

Infectious diseases rein;

Oh, what a sight it was!

Piercing chills shoot throughout my bones;

My throat felt dry, and icy, as I gasped for air.

What must this soul have done while living to leave behind a bleak, black stain?

 Must this soul be unforgiving?
