An Unforgiving Truth
In the beginning there was a man. Well to be honest he wasn’t much of a man at all. He was a serpent in a human male form. He was tall, dark, and handsome. But under his skin he was a manipulative, deceiving, slimy, slithery reptile that got everything he wanted no matter what the risk. Whether it be his freedom, friends, or family. He would put them all on the line to get his way. He was both mysterious and dangerous. The perfect man in every girls eyes. He prays on the meek and innocent. He steals their purity and stores in the whole where is freezing heart should be. Those mere girls not yet women by their lack of wisdom get sucked into his trap. They fall for his every move. They are so entranced by his sly ways that they forget who they truly are, they lose all sight of their morals, their goals, and their futures. This is as if he stops time and drains them of every ounce of innocence they had once possessed. He makes them truly believe that they want to give him everything they have. Ignoring every red flag they see along the way. They don’t listen to those that have been in their same position because they think ‘This one is different, he really cares for me. He understands me, he loves me.’ He tells them everything they need to hear to stay. He makes them believe that they are lucky to be with him. That he is some god-like figure that they will go to all ends to worship. To give him anything he desires. He is a lie. He is a fake, a fraud even. He makes those girls self-conscious about their bodies, their thoughts and dreams. He permanently alters their personality forever. He takes a piece of them with him when he moves on to the next unfortunate soul. He is a carrier. The only thing he has ever given anyone is a false safety barrier and a burning disease. A disease full of self-loathing and embarrassment. One that can take a while to notice. They know something is wrong but are too utterly embarrassed to seek help. Because who wants anyone so up close and personal? Discovering depths unknown to millions, billions even. He tries to cover his trails with transparent versions of the truth that I think he truly makes himself believe only to mask the guilt that lies in the very corners of his conscience. All the lies, all the hundreds of versions of the truth that has exploded out of his mouth cover the fact that he himself is self-conscious. He tells these lies because he cannot bear the fact that he is but a small child with the face of a man. He lacks all the qualities that a true man bears. He lacks honesty, respect, maturity, and trustworthiness. However, what he does bear are the legitimate qualities of a true coward. He is unreliable, afraid, and irresponsible. He doesn’t understand the correlation between one truly loving another and unselfishness. He only thinks of himself, in every aspect. Whether it be something simple like making women walk behind him as if he is bigger and better, or whether it be the in the bedroom activities. He is selfish, and one day that will be brought to his attention and that day is today. He is lousy, sloppy, and very awkward in terms of those once unspeakable activities. I’m not just writing this to bash him; I am writing this in place of all the women that have the wisdom I too have gained. I also write this as a fair warning to all the girls that have yet to figure this unfortunate travesty that is soon to come. It is hardly preventable. Only few innocent souls can escape the serpents’ merciful grasp. Only few are brave enough to speak the unforgiving truth of the thing that changed them forever. Most do not dare speak of this in fear of further embarrassment by the same hand of the one who wrecked so much before. I am not afraid of this unforgiving beast. I will not cower down to his disrespectful attitude. The amount of force and numbers that back him up do not intimidate me. They are unaware of the honesty that lies beneath my words, they are blind to the truths that glows in my eyes. They are empty vessels at the expense of one soulless being that I once called mine….
Signed,
Torn And Alone.
