ungrateful
To my whole being,
I'm sorry that you're constantly hurting from all the stress i've caused you.
I'm sorry that you're permanently damaged from the harsh images of the events in my head.
I'm sorry for the bad memories and all the nightmares they've created.
I'm sorry for the physical hurt ive caused you from being reckless.
I’m sorry for the years of terrible thoughts only about the negative aspects of life and my own being.
I’m sorry for the worthless facts you were forced to remember just for a test the next bell, only to forget everything the minute after.
I'm sorry for filling you with thoughts of people who didn’t deserve to know me.
I'm sorry for holding onto people just to be torn to shreds over knowing they were not holding onto me.
I'm sorry for the physical pain you encountered through life and every accident that occured.
You're welcome for the good memories and how well they are replayed, even though they aren't thought of often.
You're welcome for the high and being able to forget for awhile, that sense of clarity was needed at a time like that.
You're welcome for the images of beautiful scenery and gorgeous people you've gotten the chance to hold onto.
You're welcome for the lifelong friendships and all the memories that come with them.
You're welcome for the countless hours of pampering and relaxing.
Thank you for the power to move forward each and everyday.
Thank you for reminding me of the important times when I need them, and for reminding me of the hard times when I'm a little less grateful than I should be.
Thank you for never failing when I’m in need of something to say or I’m unsure on how to handle a situation.
Sincerely,
The slightly improved you.
