Unidentified Cut

I see a cut,

a red marked line across my thumb.

It's a weird one.

It wasn't from an accident, nor on purpose.

It was just there.

No pain, or bleeding.

It's not deep, nor is it a papercut.

It was just there.

Turning into something, Something I've never seen before.

It dried, and twist, and evolved into an inquisitive being.

It looked like the world, but I couldn't tell.
