Unified or Isolated?

Who are we as a people? Or who am I as a person?

Are we here to fulfill a purpose? Or am I here just to take up space?

What is our ultimate goal in life? Or was I to have one at all?

Were we at one point in time to stand and fight with, for, and not against our brothers?

Or was it just that from the beginning it was only every man for himself?

They say good things come to those who wait

But I have been conditioned to to go and get mine ASAP

So where do we stand?

Or better yet, how?

Together? Alone?

Although they say "We the People"

In the end it just comes down to You alone.
