Unintentional

I feel like hiding myself in the folds of a coffin Lay me down to sleep Wrap me up in silky blankets Let me lie in peace No need for me to live any longer Humiliation runs too deep Do you know How the soul Tears apart when it’s barred With unintentional words of love I was not prepared For the lead you laid in me When I gave away my heart, unintentionally Drop me in the river For I know I will not float All the magic left my fingers Tie a noose around my throat My stupidity needs a penalty And at least this punishment lets me go So never again will I have to face Pretending desperately it wasn’t done Let’s make it easy to forgot With me suddenly, tragically, being gone Do you know How the soul Tears apart when it’s barred With unintentional words of love I was not prepared For the lead you laid in me When I gave away my heart, unintentionally
