Unique

As I sit here across room I wonder how you think It's your mind that makes you different It's your mind that makes you unique You can cause me much embarrassment You can make my heart hate Sometimes you cause rage to surround me I just want to leave and never come back Yet I hurt to see you in pain To see you get pushed around by others I knew middle might do this But I have no easy way to help They cant see your creativity, your kindness, your love Your music that fills others with joy You're oh so special in a unique kind of way If only others can see into you I love you so dearly Your my very best friend May spears of hatred not pull you down And let your wings of creativity let you fly so freely Never leave me, please don't Unique, autistic brother of mine

This poem is about my younger autistic brother. Though he drives me crazy at times he's still my brother and my best friend.
