I am not me,

Because if I were,

I’d be like everybody else.

A man filled with anxiety,

A man filled with regrets,

That is who I am.

A man who has learned from sadness,

A lost soul who feels out of place in this world,

That is who I am.

However, I am not me.

I would not be any different

From the person who says “I am me”

If I were to say that as well.

A man who copies what another person says

Would not be any different from that person.

That is why I am not me,

I am a man who lives for the happiness of others.

A man who puts others before him.

A man who appreciates more than he should,

That is who I am.
