Uniting for a Change

If only you could see what I have seen.

If only you could hear what I have heard.

Now, more than ever, we need to convene

And speak out instead of being deterred.

No more, will I endure negative words.

No more, will I have fear in speaking out.

I will move forward, instead of backwords.

I will not let the past pain take me out,

Instead, I will use my strength to promote.

To promote against discrimination,

Which has been the opposite of remote.

It is everywhere in many nations, 

But so is the power of unity.

And it only takes one community.
