The Universe In Our Pockets

Floating through space.

Lost, but could be found.

Silent stars all around.

Spinning, seeing the stars

Glimmer as I spin round.

Planets. Out their somewhere.

They have people.

So many people.

They laugh. They cry.

They praise. They sting.

They make kingdoms.

Then knock them over.

They make kings.

Then throw them into

The ground.

I can’t see these people.

I am alone.

But they could find me.

If they tried.

I don’t know if I

Want to be found.

Planets. So many of them.

The people try to visit

Every single one.

But they can’t.

New ones keep forming.

They can’t keep up.

People. Next to each other.

They don’t know that

They are next to each other.

They look at different planets.

Even though

They are on the same one.

Floating through space.

I still haven’t been found.

I don’t know if that’s

Good or bad.

I float as they

Build kingdoms

Build kings.

I float as they knock them down

Like a child with his blocks.

I watch the stars glimmer

As I go round.
