Unknowingly Blinded
A young man born as an offspring of an army soilder.
Guided by a foundation of discipline and strength
forged with a desire to express known feelings hidden by despair.
Devoted to being a child, yet forced into darkness by an unwelcomed cynical behavior.
Weakened by past thoughts, this child became confused with their purpose.
Longing for his mother's touch in silence,
he wore a mask to run from past emotions.
growth being his only chance for survival,
outcasted into a realm of bad choices and lustful thinking.
Again forced into anguish by a team of lass unknowingly blinded by chance.
Living as an adolescent viewed as a young man,
heartbroken by every soft spirit of unfaithfulness.
searching for a place to call home,
yet dealing with treacherous thoughts of false practice.
At a time filled with means to end it all,
his sight was lifted and shown the promise light.
Still caring the burden of past walks of life,
his heart is filled with joy and laughter.
Becoming an educated scholar with a talented stride,
he now knows his worth as a child of God.
Though life is still a struggle he still shows truth,
and now speaks life to this generation's youth.
The power to be great lies in your biggest fears,
but the light gives you the strength to let god appear.
