The Unknown
She grins without any humor
Those closest know
They know about her
Know about her fixation
About her sharp nails
Her free time activities
Deep deep deep deep deeper they dive
Only able to breath in the toxic fumes
She welcomes them
“Anchary…” she whispers in ancient tongues
She cups chaos in her slim fingers
And drinks it
They can only see rot
She shows them a city of drums and gold
The north star is in the wrong part of the sky
She laughs until tears drown the foolish unworthy men
They forgot her and now she will make them fear her
Like an animal she tucks her napkin in her lap and takes a sip
A sip of iron
Her steps make them tremble and their knees bleed when they fall
They tear and fight and kill
She smiles her humorless grin
“They’ll end each other. And I’ll watch from a mountaintop.”
She will rise and fire will reign.
The sun will bow down to her.
She is a myth. A legend. A fear.
She is
The Unknown
