Proverbs 21:28

28 A lying witness will perish,
but the one who reports accurately speaks forever
.

Unknown

Meeting a person from the past

someone I thought ... I knew.

In talking to him ... I found out

that my impressions were not true.

I met a Christian … years ago

Or may-be ... one in the making?

One thing for sure .. he was very nice

easy to like  with ... trust for the taking.

It seems when hope and trust are gone

in mankind with all its scheming,

the Lord then unexpectedly shows

some servant whose life is screaming.

“There is hope!” … even for me

Please care about earth's destination.

There are many who never give up,

no need for your frustration.

So pick up your cross and follow the Lord

and quit your belly-aching.

For to go through life … as you do

is an example worth escaping.
