Unknown

The wind whispers soft delicate words,

your pursed lips smile

Ever so gently as you wonder

Into the unknown

Eyes flickering,

You search for your soul

Loneliness sets in

The shadows of the trees,

Your only companion

Alone,

In the dark, dense unknown.

Searching

For something,

Anything!

But nothing can be found

When wanted.

Alone,

In the dark, dense unknown.

Blood boiling,

You scream

In a final effort.

Alone.

Then, just over the horizon,

You see it.

Running over hills of emotions,

Chasing your dream.

She stares.

What you wanted all this time

Your soul;

She smiles back

The wind whispers soft delicate words,

“I Love You”

“I Love You too”
