Unknown Expectations

Reality can be a challenge,

life can be a breeze.

It can lift your head high,

or bring you to your knees.

Try to cry and yell,

maybe the pain will go away.

No, it stays in your mind

like an endless maze.

Look to the sky to be

lost with the wind,

recollecting the choices

you wish to amend.

Away with the sorrows,

let it linger in the air.

Push to the future

to find what's there.
