Unknown Friend

(Sitting here watching all these days go by, I see you everyday and no words are replied

and days like today I kick back and wonder why - why did everything use to be so worth it

cause now when I see you, you don't look on purpose.

I guess everything that they say is all true, new people get old and the old turn new

And I guess things change, feeling fade away but the ones that I have are here everyday

And so I pray and keep them feelings in my heart, cause opening up to you was wrong from the start

So I play it smart but more so safe ...I protect my heart from the pain it can't take)
