The Unknown Place of Titusville
Home we’ve created,
Generational era,
Chelton serene place.
*****
Prayer, worship with all,
Learn the power of small town,
Big fish in small pond.
*****
Small home but big heart,
Refreshing smell feels at home,
Oasis outlook.
*****
Grape Pop splat on wall,
Bar stools against the pop bar,
Laughing fills the air.
*****
Walmart blasts with air,
Is it Walmart or wolmart,
We may never know.
*****
Yellow Coffee Shop,
Pronounced Kauffee yelled with pride,
Known for dark roast black.
*****
Café on the hill,
Chick fried beef or want hamloaf,
Pancakes built for men.
*****
Market on the end,
Giant Eagle filled on Sundays,
Cars packed, post church crowd.
*****
Antiques hung with care,
Ancient traps on Saturday,
Fish on wall greets all.
*****
Donut shop on main,
Sign for when baked fresh each day,
Moms and kids intrigued.
*****
Blockbuster downtown,
Only allowed on one side,
Other side lies shame.
*****
City Limits ends,
Best soft serve cools hot gossip,
Town’s water cooler.
*****
Cigars and lottos,
Across from the place that’s home,
“Christians don’t go there.”
