The Unknown Truth
We seek for the impossible, but accept the obvious. We see past the inner straight lines of someone’s personality, but go straight for the outside curves of someone’s body. We complain, worry, and stress over those who could care less, but ignore those who care. We say we need to find love, but search for lust. When we’re single, if it’s someone we want, we don’t care if they’re in a relationship. When we’re in a relationship, anybody that comes 10 feet will get hurt. We always pick up the phone for the ones that hurt us the most, but have no problem hitting the END button for those who would hurt themselves for us. We’re so quick to accept negativity, instead of spreading peace. Yes, social networks are fun, but we rely on them for attention. We despise and talk about people, but too coward to tell them how we feel to their face. We take the time to memorize lyrics, but hate reading. We can count money in an instant, but struggle in math. We know how to mix chemicals for illegal matters, but fail science. We can send a text message in seconds, but struggle writing a paragraph. We ignore being a leader, but follow those who have no future. As we grow up, we start to realize these things and separate our self from drama starters; but then again, they classify us as being phony. We live in a world where, being real is considered fake and being fake gets you more friends.
