unlike midas's touch

unlike midas's touch

everything you touched

turned into pure darkness

you shallowed whole

the things that brought splendor

to your life,

you were ruler of the abyss

the feeling of euphoria

that once existed in you

and in your surroundigs

had perished,

had now a touch of gloomy beauty

blind by the luminance

of the things around you

not satisfied enough by it,

you led the darkness into you

it became enamored with you

and so it cursed you

with the false radiance it gave you

and its touch

became deadly,

the world around you

became a void

became the world you no longer knew,

until you learned your lesson

to became delighted with what you have

but you cannot undo

your midas's touch of darkness

all at once,
