unlike my soul

this island is deserted the isolation is unbelievable the heat unmistakable mirage is overwhelming i feel betrayed by the sun and forgotten by the rain as I recollect the fondness of your touch your smile gets me through the second i am grateful i have such memories or your love just knowing you gets me through it’s as though i am on vacation instead of stranded and I will be eternally indebted to you for that you are my sanity without thoughts of you I would not survive
