Unlit Candle

Unlit candle, dead of night Access to matches, unable to light Invisible days, lonely nights I wait and hope to find lost life Candle and I are a lot alike Much to give when set alight But the flame is gone No light to give Need help, no point No life to live Unlit candle gathers dust Abandoned tools left to rust Lying in bed, not wanting to move Just wanting to sleep, no more life rules
