The Unlovable Little Girl

She grew up hating the world

She hated the world because the world hated her

Running across fields and climbing trees she would forget

forget the pain of yesterday

forget the tall man that hurt mama

forget the boys who took and hurt her after school

she hated the play ground

the play ground was a battle feild

a battle that she was not prepared for

Mean names

boys with big ideas

she was a little girl prayed on by the word

Do not ask me why, do not say she grew up and turned out okay

she struggle everyday, with the nightmares and flash backs

Still at seventeen, she struggles while wrestling the world and all the hate

it played on her when she was but a little unlovable girl.
