The Unloved

Cold and smooth scales

Wrapping around my feet

At a snail's pace, it moves up with every mistake I make

Suffocating  and constricting

What was once love and an inseparable bond

Became toxic like its venom

And it is slowly killing me inside

It feels cold, freezing

All I ever wanted was to be loved
