Unlucky

Trudging alone is no fun, so let's see friends.

They're busy? They're asleep? They're not home?

After walking a mile, it a dead end. Time to turn around and start again.

A fun street festival? Let's go!

Matched in chess with a formidabl opponen, every move counts.

Stuck in the heat of battle, pizza arrives.

I can't leave, for my foe must first vanquish.

Alas, an unforeseen knight strikes my queen, I am at his mercy!

At a loss, I line up for my favorite pizza.

The last slice! It is missing, I turn for a different pizza

and it has all the toppings I hate!

I turn to find my rival chewing the last slice of pizza

Smiling as he ate.

I play a board game.

I roll a dice and get a zero....Twice!

I moved onto skee ball.

Unfortunately, I can only score negative points.

At the end of a long unlucky day, I find a penny on the ground.

I bend down to pick it up.

To find that it's a sticker, so shin and so round.
