Within the darkness can be heard:
a machine,
that holds the same slow and steady beeping sound.
Followed by this sense of quietness,
an unbearable sense of silence that moves
this family in hope.
A God, who allowed an awful thing to happen.
A doctor, who is in denial saying: “They'll pull through.”

The beating heart
which slowly becomes more quieter. . . .
and even more silent

Until . . . .
There is almost complete and utter
SILENCE.
Silence which has enveloped the whole room.
That person begins to fall into an unbearable unconsciousness;
falling deeply into their death leaving this world with
a mourning family, a darkening death,
and what used to be a blissful happiness.
