Unnamed poem #1

In the heart of conflict's fiery embrace,

Where shadows dance with flames of rage,

Echoes of sorrow weave through the haze,

A tapestry of strife, a symphony of screams.

Beneath the canopy of starless nights,

Soldiers march, their souls adrift,

In trenches deep, where hope takes flight,

Dreams are swallowed by the mist.

Yet amidst the chaos, a whisper of peace,

A fragile seed, in barren lands it lies,

Yearning for the day when wars shall cease,

And humanity finds solace beneath the skies.
