Unnecessary Sadness

Despair is not a sickness or a punishment for your wickedness Nor is sorrow a state of mind that should last until the end of time Instead take heart for you are not alone for there are those among you who would welcome you in their home Yesterday is history, tommorrow is a mystery, & today is a gift That is why it is called the present So put the past behind you & begin anew For they are with you The ones who cannot go on without you
