Unorthodox Element

Like a fizzling drop of rain in the dog days,

The gleaming round star in the dark of midnight,

An element so unorthodox in its environment,

Isolates itself from its curious surroundings.

Un-necessarily lonely but surely alone,

Only the wisest can tell apart its meanings,

A midget of a difference microscopic in size,

But speaks volumes to an individual mind.
