Unplanned Plans

Things never turn out as you planned
Its as if what you want is banned
One little mistake and your night ends in heartache
What if's should've could've wouldve's run through your mind
Its like your thoughts and reality are never aligned
We call it turn up
But that night was a turn down
A definite thumbs-down
I almost had a meltdown
Yes things happen for a reason
The reason goes unknown
I’m just happy to say my backbone was able to come home
