The unpredictable and unexpected

It feels as though it just happened yesterday,

But at the same time it feels like its been forever.

A balloon of remembrance in my chest,

Making it hard for me to breath.

Her face,

A worried and angry expression;

Hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It is hard to think positive when you feel like nothing is going remotely as planned.

Stuck at a stand still.

So much can go wrong.

After the decision is made it is almost like a disease,

Spreading through your veins,

Too late to change your mind.

Sometimes a terrible occurrence can lead to something good.

I know this sounds crazy,

But it’s true; you just might not see it yet.

It opened my eyes,

Gave me the vision to see something that has been right in front of me the whole time.

Things can always be worse.

There is never a good reason to quit.

Just remember,

Today is the start of the rest of your life.

Create change now.
