Unravel
Wilting. Withering. Rotting away.
I never wanted it to be like this, watching myself decay.
I can't hear. I can't think. What is wrong with me?
Never being noticed, standing forever, like a tree.
In a world that always changes, my feet keep getting stuck.
Do I have to contiue running? I've run out of pure luck.
Breakable. Unbreakable. Unable to see my past.
Blind to every surrounding thing. This breath, please be my last.
These salted tears arent going to stop, sitting, paralyzed.
Thinking of another dream, standing, paradise.
It's looking for me, it's there somewhere.
Though I still cant reach it, this isn't fair.
What is this inside me? Graceful and warm, like a dove.
I'm alone, unravelling. The clouds thundering above.
Be free, it says. This life, too difficult to cope.
I cry silently, as I walk wearily to the rope.
I smile, my innocent laugh coming to mind.
My smile fading as my body begins to unwind.
Don't forget me. Please, don't forget me.
The paradise I wish for, I want to go see.
My head hung high, my hands and feet letting go.
It feels as if everything was so long ago.
Theres nothing left. Nothing left of me.
Don't forget me. Don't forget me, please...
