Unreachable, Unforgettable

When I first saw your face

I lit up

Like the way a fire is ablaze 

You have such stark traits

That I’ve never seen on anyone before 

Which is why on the rating scale, you’re more than a four 

I keep on holding on to the little moments that we shared

When you picked me up when I fell

You held me in a spell

When you defended me like no other

I swear my heart wrote a love letter 

When you complimented my art

I ignored that part 

When we bartered and I made you laugh

That was the best moment I could’ve ever had

When we always bumped into each other and you made a comment 

My chest blew up like a comet

The way you playfully punch my arm, the way you say my name, the way you describe me so nice

But even after all of this

I know our souls will never hit 

Because you are far and have a reputation

And I am low and live in an imagination 

But just know, I’ll never forget the moments we shared
