UNREALISED LOSS

My mother has lost herself. I used to hate her for it. Because now she doesn't understand What growing up feels like. She did it too quickly. She skipped over the discovering Skipped over the hurting Skipped over the healing Skipped over the blooming. She dove headfirst Into adulthood And it took everything from her. How can I hate someone Who themself doesn't realise How much they've lost?
