Unrequited

She dazzled the room and made them all stare.

She said she could be mine but I'd have to share.

She had cobalt eyes which showed her care.

She could shimmer like gold because of her hair.

Yet tell her I love her I wouldn't dare.

She would go off somewhere dating her millionaire.

She drove me crazy and brought me to swear

Yet my every thought was of her and what she would wear.

Her wardrobe was pink displayin her flair.

My love for her went nowhere.

On she went with our affair.
