Unrequited Love

Although I drink it voluntarily, The cyanide in my styrofoam cup, I am denying that it is deadly, Your unfair and unrequited love. You threw me in a box with the oxygen off. Ran through spring but summer was near, With Earth's revolving you somehow forgot, The remaining three seasons of your year. But love is love and I, a fool. A small price to pay for years I smiled, Blessed I am for your whirlpool, Lucky for you, I'd crawl for miles. This unrequited love I have faith in, Remember God was in between what has been.
