UNREQUITED LOVE

it’s her.

i get lost in her eyes,

her voice,

her ideas.

when she talks,

i listen.

when she’s quiet,

i stare.

until he comes.

until he sweeps her off her feet,

pulls her in,

gets lost in her lips.

something i could only dream of.
