Unrequited love

Not quite friends, not quite lovers

More than strangers, yet still not enough for each other

Not because they were different or somewhat unalike

But becuase neither could admit the affection communicataed through their sight

"A tension" "some feelings" "a stare" but nothing more

Nothing to initiate the fodness that each heart bore

A desire they both held

Wishing the other would know

But not enough to tell them today

"Maybe in a day or so"
